ICO creates carefully designed Spanish Immersion Programs to support your Spanish Language journey and help you refine your Spanish skills.
Cater to all ages and levels, children to adults and beginners to advanced students, classes at ICO are conducted to maximize your learning experience in a supportive, fun environment.
Our native-speaking teachers will guide you through the immersion program, helping you improve your communication skills and increase your confidence when speaking in Spanish!

Spanish Programs
At the Instituto Cultural Oaxaca, we provide two programs to learn Spanish.
Intensive Spanish Immersion Program
This course is perfect for students looking to deeply connect with the Spanish language and Mexican culture. It offers up to 7 hours of complete immersion in the language and culture daily.
Your daily schedule typically includes 3 hours of structured Spanish lessons and a 1-hour conversation session. These conversation sessions generally are conducted outdoors, on the patio or garden. Each day, you'll also engage in two-afternoon activities: Cultural Workshops and Intercambio.

14:00 - 18:00: Cultural Workshops (2 hours within this timeframe, from Monday to Thursday)

13:00 - 18:00: Intercambio (1 hour within this timeframe, from Monday to Thursday)
Please remember that the Cultural Workshops and Intercambio activities only take place from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, students have the afternoon off.
The Cultural Workshops cover various topics, including traditional Oaxacan cooking, salsa dancing, weaving, and conversational Spanish.
20-Hours Spanish Language Program
This program is ideal for students who wish to enhance their Spanish language skills. This program provides up to 4 hours of complete Spanish language immersion daily.
Every day comprises 3 hours of formal Spanish instruction and a 1-hour Spanish conversation session, all taking place in the morning. The rest of the afternoon is yours to use as you please.
