Immerse yourself in the Spanish language and Mexican culture with our Full Immersion Spanish Program, and engage with Mexico and Oaxaca while learning Spanish.
Enrolling in the Full Immersion Spanish program provides up to 7 daily contact hours of total immersion.
This program allows you to take formal language classes appropriate to your level and then apply what you have learned in a group conversation class. In addition, comprehension and speaking abilities are further developed by attending cultural workshops and participating in intercambios (language exchanges) with a member of the local Oaxacan community.
The day begins with three hours of formal Spanish classes and one hour of conversation classes that sometimes take place in the corridors and gardens of the Institute. In the afternoon, two hours of cultural workshops (salsa, cooking, weaving, ceramics, etc.) and one hour of exchange (foreign language) with a member of the Oaxacan community.
